When Humans Become Type 2 Civilization?

When Humans Become Type 2 Civilization

Humans are the most evolved beings on the globe, and we still have a very complex and advanced civilization, so where our civilization sits right now, and that's what we're talking about today.

In 1964, the Soviet astronomer Kardashev identified three classes of civilizations, based on the order of magnitude of the force available to them.

Type I civilization

Often named a planetary civilization that can use and store all the resources available on the surface.

Type II civilization

Often known as a stellar civilization, it can use and regulate resources on the size of a solar system.

Type III civilization

Often known as an interstellar society, it can manipulate resources at the size of the whole host galaxy.

Current Status of Human Civilization

When we are now, we're almost using a few percent of the earth's power.

When I say earth force, what it means is that the earth has a lot of resources, including our energy resources, such as sun, wind, water (hydro), geo.

We need to use all kinds of tools to get to Type I civilization, Sun, Wind, Hydro, Geo.

Physicist and futurist Michio Kaku suggested that if humans increase their energy intake at an estimated rate of 3% each year, they would be able to reach Type I status in 100–200 years.

When We Will Become Type 2 Civilization?

Being a Type 1 civilization seems straightforward, but becoming a Type II civilization is incredibly difficult, and it may take thousands of years to accomplish it.

In the same sentence, Michio Kaku indicated that reaching Type II status may take a few thousand years, and Type III status may take 100,000 to one million years.
